Below are our CPD trainers’ profiles:

Mr Adam Wang

Adam is an experienced Marketing Director with a demonstrated history of working in the real estate industry. Skilled in Negotiation, Commercial Mortgages, Customer Service, Working with Tenants, and Investment Properties. Strong marketing professional with a Cert-in-CEHA focused in Real Estate from Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers (SISV).

Mr Alfred Chia

Alfred Chia is the CEO of SingCapital Pte Ltd. He has more than 19 years of experience in helping people realise their financial dreams with the right planning tools. Alfred is an approved trainer for the Real Estate Salespersons (RES) course by the Council of Estate Agencies (CEA), helping individuals who intend to pursue a career as a real estate salesperson. He is also a lecturer for Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) professional course for the financial industry.

Alfred strives to share his knowledge of financial planning through as many conduits as possible. He is the Creator and Chief Trainer for the popular program, ‘Singapore Accredited Mortgage Planner’, for real estate professionals and financial planners.

Alfred holds a degree in Bachelor of Science from the National University of Singapore and various professional qualifications including Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).

Mr Algene Toh

Algene has been a real estate practitioner since 2003 and has over 17 years of practice and experience under his belt. He started off marketing public housing and had transacted hundreds of HDB flats. He moved on to market private residential properties and eventually to commercial and industrial properties.

 

Mr Arthur Lee Beng San

Arthur is a qualified and experienced industrial realtor with over 19 years of experience. He has a B.Sc. (Estate Management) and M.Sc. (Real Estate) from NUS, and is professionally recognized by SISV as MSISV (Agency & Marketing). He has closed a wide range of landed industrial property deals with corporate entities such as AMD (Singapore) Pte Ltd, Mapletree REIT, and many others.

Arthur has lectured at the Singapore Polytechnic, IBMEC College, and ASREA. He is able to provide proper guidance and teach CEA registered Agents how to navigate through SLA’s INLIS, URA’s websites and the various Industrial Property markets so as to close landed industrial property deals professionally.

Mr Bernard Soo

Bernard Soo has over 18 years of experience in the Banking and Wealth Management industry, including 7 years as a private banker for High-Net-Worth Individuals and over 10 years in senior management roles such as Head of Wealth Proposition and Online Equities in Standard Chartered Bank and Head of Digital Wealth Proposition in UOB. In his management capacity, he designed and implemented bank-level acquisition strategies across the region to enable the Singapore bankers’ prospecting activities to help them achieve their acquisition goals.

Through his organisation, momenta Group, he currently trains and coach Private Bankers in the Private Banks in Singapore on Sales (Prospecting, Relationship Management and Negotiation), Wealth Management as well as Fintech.

Bernard previously served as the Board Member of the Singapore Fintech Association representing the Fintech community in Singapore. He is also co-founded CitaDAO, a DeFi Property Tokenising platform, where he assists UHNW individuals and Family Offices globally to tokenise their real estate.

Ms Cheryl Sum

Cheryl has 14 years of experience in the real estate market in Singapore, mainly in sales, marketing and consulting roles. She had led various residential project launches in Singapore, and had worked in teams to spearhead key markets like China and Malaysia. Throughout these years, she has worked with various Property Developers and Business Leaders in Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and New Zealand.

Cheryl was appointed a Business Coach for a startup incubator program endorsed by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) held in Ho Chi Minh City throughout 2017 and was a Keynote Speaker for a Real Estate Convention held in Thailand in 2022.

Currently, Cheryl spends majority of her time coaching real estate salespersons and corporate executives. Cheryl also runs her own training and consultancy business where she has undertaken multiple consultancy projects in identifying organizational development needs, implementing market strategies and have been consistently working with various partners to create and list e-learning courses. Some of her major clients include the Association of Strata Managers, Marketing Institute of Singapore, Selangor Dredging Berhad, CapitaLand, ST Engineering and Audemars Piguet.

Mr Daniel Tng

Mr Daniel T’ng has more than 35 years of experience in the property and facilities management industry in Singapore and in the Region. He has extensive experience in managing strata-titled developments, lease management, facilities management, project consultancy and general management as well as business development in the facilities management and real estate industry. Mr T’ng is an experienced and qualified Associate Adult Educator specialised in coaching and training real estate practitioners in the areas of Facilities Management and Strata Development Management.

Besides his years of real estate corporate experiences, Mr T’ng had held positions as council chairman and council member of some high-end residential MCSTs. He has also contributed to the drafting and finalisation of the Singapore Standard for Pneumatic Waste Conveyance System as member of the Workgroup led by the National Environment Agency and Enterprise Singapore. In spite of his retirement, he remains active in the workplace safety & health industry. He chairs the Workplace Safety & Health (FM) Committee and is an active member of WSH Council. Mr T’ng is also appointed by Building Construction Authority as a Resource Person (Advisor) to the Integrated Planning & Design – Design for Maintainability Taskforce.

Mr Dennis Tay

Dennis Tay is currently a registered salesperson and has more than 35 years’ experience in the real estate industry. He previously worked for the developer, Keppel Land as General Manager, Marketing, in charge of the sale and marketing of projects in China, India, Indonesia, Vietnam and Singapore. In the area of consultancy and brokerage, Dennis Tay was the Director for Investment Properties in CB Richard Ellis Singapore. His overseas postings include Shanghai as Senior Manager and later on as Managing Director, CBRE Beijing.

He was also involved in the real estate agency industry when he joined SAEA as its CEO in 2013; and assisted in the formation of the Singapore Estate Agents Association (SEAA) in 2016.

Dennis Tay graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1988 with a Degree in Estate Management and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration in 2008 from the same university. He has a Diploma in Marketing awarded by Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK and WSQ Advance Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA). His teaching experiences include RES and CPD Trainer with Singapore Estate Agents Association (SEAA), Part-time Tutor with National University of Singapore’s Design and Environment Faculty and Adjunct Lecturer with Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

Ms Edith Tay

Ms Edith Tay has more than 15 years of experience in Real Estate, of which more than 12 years are on Singapore Commercial and Industrial Properties.

Her previous years representing DTZ, Knight Frank, SembCorp, have imbued in her a strong and substantial foundation in commercial real estate.

Her commercial real estate experience spans across various sectors. Her understanding of the business requirements in Education, Healthcare and Hi-tech manufacturing sectors, has helped her contribute to their relocation and expansion decisions of some MNCs and global companies. She has also successfully crafted Built-To-Suit solution for a “Design & Built” project for an aerospace company.

Mr Harold Tan

Mr Harold Tan is the Real Estate Development Advisory Director for Vestasia Group. He has some 30 years of experience in the real estate industry having worked in both public and private sectors, holding various senior positions covering development, investment, commercial, retail, industrial and residential sectors.

Harold holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (Estate Management)(Hons) from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Georgia (USA).

Mr Joseph Wong

Joseph spent 36 years at Standard Chartered Bank managing traditional and innovative banking spanning Retail, Wholesale, Commercial banking, Marketing, Business Re-engineering, ISO9001 accreditation, Process Management, Sales Management, Communication, Micro-learning globally. He left the Bank in 2015 to start his own consultancy business (Delapro) focusing on Communication and Leadership. Joseph is also one of only a handful of Phonetics coaches in Singapore.

His signature programmes Reverse-Engineer Phonetics (speaking well in one day) and The Three Monsters that Destroy Your Career (how to go into your first job like a leader) are trademarks of his ingenuity, creativity and leadership. He co-developed a sales app called Delapitch and launched it at the Singapore Business Show in September 2022, under a selling philosophy FOSTER Method that he developed himself. He is both ACTA and TESOL certified.

Mr Lester Leow

Mr Lester Leow graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science in Estate Management. Currently he is the Director of an estate agency that manages the investment and sales portfolio. Lester brings with him a wealth of experience in corporate real estate, business development and real estate fund experience.

His past experiences with developers included functions in business development and marketing of local and overseas projects (residential, office and integrated developments). He also has exposure in handling listed & private equity fund, where he was the pioneer team in an Industrial REIT IPO and involved in a MNC real estate fund business unit in as the Vice President.

Mr Mark Gansham

Mr Mark Gansham graduated from the University of London with a Bachelors Degree in Economics. He is also ACTA (Advanced Certificate In Training And Assessment) qualified, a pre-requisite to train WDA’s Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) programs.

Mark has been a real estate practitioner for 18 years and has vast experience in sales and lease transactions of both the public and private residential market. He has vast knowledge in areas of HDB and Private Residential Properties. Mark has extensive experience in Real Estate training. He is involved in training in Area of Rental & Sale of Public and Private Properties as well as Skills based training.

Dr Moses Lim

Dr. Moses Lim is an entrepreneur and international facilitator who provides consultation, business development, and training to various organizations. He has conducted leadership programs for business, civil, education, and church leaders across the globe. With his expertise in psychometric tools, Dr. Lim is a certified executive coach who has worked with several corporations and an international organization to develop in-house mentoring coaching programs.

He is also a teaching consultant with the National Institute of Education International, Nanyang Technological University. Dr. Lim’s Management Adventure Program© (MAP) empowers managers and business leaders to achieve peak leadership performance.

Mr Patrick Tan

Mr Patrick Tan is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the law firm M/s Fortis Law Corporation. He specializes in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, wealth and legacy management, and real estate. He is an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore, Commissioner for Oaths, a Fellow with the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators, and an accredited Mediator, appointed by the Singapore Mediation Centre and the Primary Dispute Resolution Centre of the Subordinate Courts of Singapore.

Patrick holds a LL.B (Hons) at the University of Nottingham. He received top honours, clinching several academic prizes in land law, company law and partnership law. Whilst at Nottingham, he served as an editor on the editorial boards of the University’s law society and Malaysian and Singaporean Society.

Ms Renee Chong

Renee Chong is a successful entrepreneur and venture capitalist, currently the Managing Partner of Momenta and a Consulting Associate at Blanchard Singapore. She also serves as CEO of the Entrepreneur Leadership Institute, where she fosters a global community of business leaders through training, coaching, and mentorship.

Known for her learner-centric training style, Renee creates engaging learning experiences that offer valuable insights into self-discovery and practical success. She is passionate about leadership development, believing that effective leadership training is crucial for organizational efficiency.

Renee left her corporate role to focus on imparting practical skills beyond traditional education systems. Previously, as Lead Manager of the Higher Education Policy Division at Singapore’s Ministry of Education, she developed future-relevant courses. She also led strategic planning as Head of Department in Integrated Curriculum.

Mr Steve Liu

Mr Steve Liu is currently a Director and KEO of a local real estate agency. He has been active in the real estate industry for past 15 years. Prior his current role, he had held various appointments as an Executive Director of real estate agency company, a real estate development and construction company, Head of Business Unit in an international property consultancy firm.

Steve acts as a consultant in matters regarding feasibility studies on landed properties development and small-scale collective sales sites. His other expertise are sale and leasing of public and private residential properties, residential properties under construction, offices and shops. His other expertise in dealings with matters involving Real Estate Contract Law.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Engineering at University of New South Wales, Australia, Certificate in Common Examinations for Housing Agents (CEHA) at Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers and Certificate in Real Estate Agency (REA), Council for Estate Agencies.
