The CPD scheme was implemented by CEA to help estate agents and salespersons keep their knowledge up to date, be familiar with the relevant guidelines, government policies and procedures and the latest developments taking place in the industry.

Under the Estate Agents (Estate Agency Work) Regulations 2010, every KEO, practising director/partner and salesperson will be required to undertake a minimum number of hours learning activities (at least 3 credit hours need to be core credit hours, the remaining 3 can be core or non-core credit hours) for each CPD cycle. It is also a renewal licensing/registration condition stipulated in the Estate Agents (Licensing and Registration) Regulations 2010. For 2013, the CPD cycle starts in 1 Jan to 30 Sep and the minimum number of CPD credit hours required to undertake is 4 (2 core and 2 non-core).  Click HERE to read the detailed CPD guidelines.

We strongly encourage salespersons to develop an interest in lifelong learning, have a sense of moral obligation, maintain and improve professional competence, and keep abreast of new technology and practice. As such, we bring salespersons a suite of professional upgrading courses and seminars.
